Cuba 1899 - Sc 221 Plate Block of 6.
An unused, original gum, plate block of 6 of the 1 cent, Benjamin Franklin overprinted stamp. This is Plate Number 768. Technically never hinged since it was never attached to an albun page using hinges but there are two very small, 1mm wide pieces of hinge applied to the bottom margin to reinforce the vertical perforations. The six individual stamps are still never hinged. Very scarce item. The 2010 Scott U.S. Specialized Catalogue value is US $300.00
