Cuba 1940 - Sc 361 - Pan American Union stamp on a cacheted FDC
The 1940 stamp issued to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Pan-American Union on a cacheted First Day Cover. This is one of the scarcest cachets prepared for this issue. The cachet has been printed using a very heavy gold color ink, (appears dark gray in the scan) that produced a "bas relieve" look and feel to it. Very unusual and seldom seen cachet.
